Three cameo embossed, embossed and pierced paperlace valentine cards, stamp marked Mansell, all with gilded and hand-coloured details, one with centre-piece entitled 'Love's Book of Sentiment', one entitled 'The Puss in Boots Valentine', opening to reveal a chromolithographic panorama of scenes from Puss-In-Boots, another with a silvered envelope centre-piece opening to reveal two cameo putti on a silver garland, the verse reads 'Oh! may fond love/Invade thy breast/And give thee joy/And peaceful rest', 7 x 4½in., c. 1840-60.
