AN AUSTRIAN FIGURED WALNUT AND PARQUETRY ARMOIRE
Mid-18th Century
Inlaid overall with geometric interalced strapwork and fruitwood and amaranth stringing, the rectangular overhanging moulded cornice with rounded indented corners, above a pair of doors, enclosing a plain interior lined with later watered ottoman satin and with eight shelves, above a moulded base and on later bun feet, the top edge of the moulding replaced, minor restorations to the veneers
