An Italian walnut and marquetry commode, the top with a gadrooned edge, fitted with three dummy drawer fall-front compartments decorated with scrolling foliage, bellflowers and birds on bracket feet, early 18th century, the drawers adapted -- 57½in. (146cm.) wide, 23in. (58cm.) deep, 40in. (102cm.) high.
