A South German walnut, crossbanded and chequer-strung rectangular commode, with projecting canted angles, the top and sides with burr-veneered panels and fitted with three long drawers on later square tapering legs, 18th century -- 48in. (122cm.) wide, 23½in. (59cm.) deep, 35in.(89cm.) high.
