A Napoleon III ebonised, gilt-metal-mounted and inlaid dwarf side cabinet, with projecting rounded angles and a slate top, the frieze, stiles and enclosing oval panelled doors veneered in scarlet tortoiseshell inlaid with a marquetry of foliate scroll-cut brass on a shaped plinth base -- 51in. (130cm.) wide, 16½in. (42cm.) deep, 42½in. (108cm.) high.
