Hallion with continuous scenes of peasants at various rural pursuits, including sharpening scythes, gathering sheaves, herding goats and cattle, keeping bees and making hay all within terracotta and gilt-ground bands suspending trophies from ramshead terminals all reserved on a pale green stippled-ground (slight wear), green and brown printed marks, 19th Century -- 10¾in. high
