A Turner creamware armorial plate
painted with a coat-of-arms to the centre within the motto PRENEZ HALEINE TIREZ FORT within a border of linked husks, the rim painted with the crest of a leopard's head within a linked scrolls, impressed mark to the reverse -- 9¾in. (24.75cm.) diam., circa 1775-1800 (slight wear)
