A pair of Turner black stoneware vases
of baluster form, each twin-handled and with flaring rims, applied in relief with red clay with scenes of Classical figures including Venus, Plenty, Silenus and a figure possibly representing Ariadne, impressed marks -- 9½in. (24.25cm.) high, circa 1800 (one handle lacking and other chips)
