inlaid with boxwood and ebony lines and decorated with ribbon-tied floral and foliate stems, the galleried superstucture with a shelf flanked by a drawer and pigeon holes to either side enclosed by a downswept hinged panelled door, the top of double D-shaped outline fitted with a panel of tooled leather, containing a central frieze drawer and flanked by three drawers to either side, on square tapering legs with spade feet, stamped Edwards & Roberts -- 48in.
