TWO CYPRIOT WHITE PAINTED WARE BULL ASKOI
MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 1725-1650 B.C.
Comprising an askos with rounded body tapered to a point at the rear, stylized bull's head at the front with long horns, pierced eyes and mouth, circular aperture below, a small loop handle on centre back, with brown painted linear decoration, on three short feet, horns with restoration; and another, the standing bull with rectangular body, with cylindrical spout on the centre back, connected to the tail by loop handle, the bull's head with short horns and muzzle in the form of a side spout, on four short feet, brown painted linear decoration, with slight restoration
