A LARGE CYPRIOT DRAB POLISHED WARE SUBSIDIARY-UNIT JUG
EARLY/MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 2300-1650 B.C.
With 'nipple' base and cutaway-beak spout, mounted on the shoulder are a pair of subsidiary bowls on either side of the neck and a subsidiary jug in front, the bowls each with three rim projections, the handle with zoomorphic thumb-grip in the form of an animal's head, twin pierced lugs on either side of neck at base of spout, incised hatches and dots on the jug's neck, handle and around the shoulder, repaired at base of subsidiary jug
