A CYPRIOT MOTTLED RED POLISHED WARE BOWL, JUG AND FUNNEL
ALL EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2700-1900 B.C.
The bowl with tall, hollow stem base with moulded vertical rib at either side, four sets of rim-lugs, one of which is pierced below with two holes, minor repair and restoration, 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) high; a jug with rounded base and squat neck, long cylindrical side spout with everted rim, diminutive pierced lug at base of neck, decorated with single zigzag bands, loop handle, 5¼ in. (13.5 cm.) high; and a funnel with ring handle, imitating a gourd original, with small lug on rim and incised zigzag band around body, 6 1/8 in. (15.7 cm.) high (3)
