A St. Petersburg (Imperial Porcelain Factory) plate
after a Meissen original, painted with a vignette of two figures beside a lake in a landscape, the borders painted with flowersprays within gilt scroll cartouches, and moulded with geometric designs and flowerheads beneath pale pink and gilt line rim, underglaze blue mark, circa 1800 (minor rubbing to gilding) -- 24.5cm. diam.
