A jadeite tripod censer and cover
19th Century
of compressed form, with dragon-mask and loose-ring handles, standing on three short feet with lion-head terminals, the slightly wasted domed cover with ruyi-head and loose-ring handles and guei dragon finial, in a fitted hardwood box with incised calligraphy and carrying handles -- 5½in. (14cm.) high, (minor wear).
