2° (385 x 235mm.), without text (as issued), 18 hand-coloured aquatint plates by Cornelius Suhr after Christoffer Suhr (title in facsimile, old stab-holes to upper margin of each plate), elegantly bound to style by Alain Devauchelle in green half morocco gilt, red morocco lettering-piece on spine.
Finely bound copy of this series of plates illustrating the officers and men of the Spanish Romana division, quartered in Hamburg during Napoleon's occupation of the city in an effort to enforce the French blockade of Great Britain. Colas 2833; Lipperheide 2357.
