Lot Essay

This design, with slight differences to lot 247 was used on the final cover together with the landscape details of lot 247.

Ron's father, who owns the Ford Anglia, is a wizard who works for the Ministry of Magic in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, was fascinated by the muggle world that exists without magic. On the discovery that her boys had taken the car and flown to Privet Drive to rescue Harry from his relatives, Mrs Weasley exclaimed:

"Imagine a wizard buying a rusty old car and telling his wife all he wanted to do with it was take it apart to see how it worked, while really he was enchanting it to make it fly...!"
