Genoa, one mid-18th Century, one 20th Century
Each with later faux marble top with three-quarter gallery above a slide, an open compartment below and a pair of cupboard doors, painted overall with birds within a scrolling and trellis cartouche, the sides with conforming decoration and with handles, on cabriole legs, the 18th century bedside commode branded to the underside 'P. BOSSI e FIGLIO GENOVA n.in. 1072 COLLEZIONI ARTE ANTICA' and with a label inscribed 'N. 678 Louis XV' and a further label numbered '441', originally with marble top, restoration to one leg
