TWO CONTINENTAL FIGURE GROUPS EMBLEMATIC OF FALL AND WINTER
Late 19th century, spurious iron-red anchor and dagger mark to the first, both probably Samson
Each modelled in the Bow style with a putto seated and holding grapes atop a goat, another putto at the flower-encrusted base holding a flaming pot, the first with tall rocaille-moulded feet enriched in puce and blue, the second with gilt enriched base, Doheny Collection no. 27
