Each side finely painted with a view of Fort William at Calcutta, built by the English in 1702, boats in the harbor and a tall palm tree in the foreground, the borders of shaded acanthus leaf tips and bellflowers enclosing gilt vine, the teabowl center with a small vignette of rock, water and grasses
