A 1/8 SCALE MODEL OF A FERRARI 365GTB/4 GR IV BY ATELIER T.F.
The Ferrari 'Daytona' Gr IV is surely one of the most mythical motor cars of the '70s, with only 15 examples produced for competition use. This 1/8th scale model was hand built by Atelier T. F. in 1989 on special order and carries the No. 01/04. Built from thin brass plate, it is sprayed with 4 coats of original Ferrari paint Max Meyer 'Ferrari Corsa 300' and features a tubular chassis, functioning double wishbone suspension with coil springs, a working steering box activated by the steering wheel, an articulated windscreen wiper and seats trimmed in black leather. Its dimensions are : length 55cm, width 24cm, height 15cm, for an overall weight of 8kg and is superbly presented.
Atelier T.F. have confirmed that they would be willing to adapt this model (racing colours and specifications relating to a particular chassis no.), should this be the wish of the new owner.

La Ferrari Daytona Gr IV, produite en seulement quinze exemplaires pour la course, est sûrement l'une des automobiles les plus mythiques des années 70. La maquette au 1/8 proposée a été réalisée entièrement à la main par l'Atelier T.F.en 1989 sur commande spéciale et porte le No. 01/04. Construite en fine tôle de laiton martelée, elle est peinte de 4 couches utilisant la teinte d'origine Ferrari (Max Meyer, Ferrari Corsa 300). Elle dispose d'un châssis tubulaire avec triangles de suspension, ressorts hélicoïdaux et amortisseurs fonctionnels, d'un boîtier de direction actionné par le volant, d'un essuie glace articulé et de sièges en peau d'agneau noire. Mesurant 55 cm de long, 24 cm de large et 15 cm de haut, pour un poids de 8kg, elle se trouve en superbe état de présentation.
Les responsables de l'atelier T.F. nous ont confirmé qu'ils sont disposés à effectuer sur devis, des transformations (couleur course et spécifications d'un numéro de châssis en particulier) selon les souhaits de l'acquéreur.
