the bearded figure carved wearing long robes laying down on a cushion sleeping, on a rectangular base with openwork sides, incised signature to base -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) wide; and another ivory netsuke of a group of seven noh masks with various characters and expressions, the reverse with a signed oval tablet -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) wide, (minute nibbles and rubbing).
