A Dutch silver brandy bowl
Mark of Thomas Sibrand Hicht, Dokkum, 1683
Lobed oval, on similar foot engraved with panels of foliage, the sides of the bowl engraved with seven biblical scenes within foliate scroll cartouches and a coat-of-arms within crossed foliage plumes beneath a coronet, the openwork handles cast with grotesque masks and scrolling foliage, marked on base
21 cm. (8¼ in.) long
