A CYPRIOT INCISED RED POLISHED WARE TULIP BOWL
EARLY BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 2300-1900 B.C.
With anthropomorphic features, the vertical handle representing the nose, incised eye detail on either side with radiating lashes, upward curved mouth beneath, groups of decorative incised lines around the tapered bowl, repaired with restoration, 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high; and two Cypriot Back-Topped Red Polished Ware bowls, comprising a tulip bowl with two protruding rim lugs and a pair of diminutive trough-spouted lugs between them, the body with incised linear decoration, three multiple bands of zigzag divided by a single band of connecting lozenges, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; and a bowl with a single rim lug opposite a small trough spout, the bowl tapered to base with concave depression, decorated with two registers of multi-linear festoon motif, white infilled incisions, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high, both Early Bronze Age, circa 2500-2000 B.C., both repaired with restoration (3)
