Circa 1725, Dreher's to footrim of one saucer, the teabowls and first two saucers gilt at Augsburg, most probably at the workshop of Abraham Seuter
The teabowls with Orientals at various pursuits with fans and parasols on terraces with trees and, shrubs and fences between gilt band borders, the base of the interiors with exotic birds perched on branches below broad scalloped borders edged with scrolls; the first saucer similarly decorated with three vignettes of Orientals within a similar border, 4 7/8in. (12.6cm.) diam.; the second saucer with two Orientals seated on a terrace with rabbits at their feet within a broad scalloped border, 5½in. (14cm.) diam.; the gold ground of the third saucer reserved with three shaped rectangular cartouches about a central shaped triangular cartouche, each edged with scrolling foliage and painted in Schwarzlot and Eisenrot with an Oriental couple, 5in. (12.7cm.) diam. (5)
