Cylindrical slightly tapering striated blue agate étui with independent convex top and base, the cover and base bordered with a pierced gold mount stamped, engraved and chased with fluted c-scrolls twisted with floral swags and interspersed by a bird, a squirrel and a dog, reeded gold rims
