decorated in mother-of-pearl inlays and sprinkled gold dust on a kinji ground, with wild flowers, bone skull ojime, an ivory pierced and carved shaped netsuke with a rat among entwined chord -- 3½in. (8.9cm.) high, (minor losses to decoration).
