A four-case inro
signed in seal form in raised red lacquer Shiomi Masanari, 18th Century
decorated in gold and silver togidashi, details in kimpun on a roiro-nuri ground, with a kiri-tree, gold lacquer interior, coral ojime bead, lacquered manju netsuke decorated in gold hiramakie with silver inlay on a black ground with a weeping willow, signed Koshi and with long inscription in gold lacquer to reverse, the inro -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high, (minor wear and rubbing).
