Six Chelsea blue-ground plates
Circa 1760, gold anchor marks
The centres painted with exotic birds among trees and shrubs with pendant moss and foliage in the foreground and with birds in flight above, four similarly decorated with an exotic bird attacking a long-tailed lizard, another attacking a ladybird, and the last with a long-tailed bird within circular gilt-scroll and ogival arch surrounds, the border with gilt scrolling foliage beneath a shaped gilt dentil rim (all with some rubbing to gilding of wells and rims, the last with flaking to enamel of central cartouche at four o'clock)
