A PAIR OF UNUSUAL AUBERGINE, TURQUOISE AND STRAW-GLAZED ELEPHANTS AND RIDERS

The elephants modelled standing foursquare mounted by an emaciated figure seated side-saddle, one holding a piece of coral, the other a horn, the riders with an amusing scowling expression, wearing a close-fitting cap with pointed end, baggy pantaloons and loose shirt tied across the chest
