The gilt oval case with pierced stylised foliate band, turned stem, hinged front cover, latched oval dial with Roman chapter ring, engraved foliate mask, the centre engraved with a town view, single steel hand, gilt movement with engraved spring barrels, turned pillars, countwheel strike on a bell, hog's bristle regulation, dumb-bell steel balance
