A Dutch gilt-brass mounted walnut striking bracket clock with moonphase and pull quarter repeat, on wall bracket

The case with brass handle to shallow bell top and with pineappele finials to the angles, break-arch silk backed brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, with conforming quarter frets to the front door, on base with wavy apron and raised on gilt-brass bracket feet, the 8½ in. wide brass dial with winged cherub mask spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour and lozenge half quarter hour markers, signed Will.m. Gib Rotterdam, the matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and square date aperture, silvered ferrules to the winding holes, blued steel hands, with strike/not strike lever beside the upper left spandrel, the arch with engraved border to a painted moonphase with glazed gilt-brass moon, the twin fusee (wire lines) five pillar movement now converted to anchor escapement, with hour strike on bell and pull wind quarter repeat on six nested bells, the back plate elaborately engraved with foliate scrolls within a hatched border and with later pendulum holdfast, with engraved movement securing bracket to the case; the wall bracket with scroll support
