deeply carved and pierced with figures on horseback amid trees and cloud scrolls above foaming waves, the verso with figures in boats, within key-fret bands -- 3 7/8in. (9.8cm.) high: and a further ivory snuff bottle and stopper, carved with lion mask handles and panels with figures at work and leisure -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high. (age cracks).
