An ivory stained snuff bottle and stopper
18/19th Century
of globular form, deeply carved and pierced with eight immortals in various vessels above foaming waves, the stopper in the form of a seated Budai, traces of pigments remaining -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high; and a further ivory snuff bottle and stopper, carved with figures eating and drinking beneath willow trees -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high, (age cracks).
