A CASED PAIR OF 14-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOLS

With rebrowned octagonal twist barrels signed 'W. Parker Holborn London' and with an engraved band at the rear, silver fore-sights, and gold-lined touch-holes, engraved tangs each incorporating the back-sight, signed detented bevelled locks each with safety-catch, roller, and engraved stepped tail (one sear-nose worn), walnut full stocks (one fore-end tip repaired, the other cracked), chequered butts with a plain strip down each side, engraved iron mounts including spur trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, set triggers, and later horn-tipped ramrods: in associated lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including a three-way flask, the lid with trade label and flush-fitting carrying handle (compartment lids replaced), Tower proof marks
