2° (520 x 340mm). Text in Spanish. 118 engraved maps, including 3 folding, woodcut initials and tail pieces, mounted on guards. (Lacking title and dedication, light browning to many maps and text leaves, some wear to final folios, one map with small loss.) Contemporary vellum, panelled in gilt (stained and worn, detached). Blaeu's atlas of Germany, the third volume of the Atlas Mayor, with an additional 20 maps of Schleswig at the end as listed in the indices, and also including an additional map of the island of Akoe. Koeman Van der Krogt 2:641.3.

Title with woodcut printer's device, engraved armorial title with letterpress overslip pasted in, 63 engraved maps, woodcut initials and tailpieces, mounted on guards. The fourth volume of the Atlas Mayor, with maps of the Low Countries divided into two parts: the Southern Netherlands and the United Netherlands. Blaeu commenced publication of the Spanish Atlas Nuevo in 1659, but this was halted following the destruction of his printing house by fire in 1672. Koeman/der Krogt 2:641.4 (2)
