A SET OF SIX IRISH GEORGE II MAHOGANY DINING-CHAIRS
The shaped toprail above a pierced vase-shaped splat, above a padded drop-in seat covered in early 20th Century gros and petit point needlework, above a plain waved apron, on cabriole legs and pad feet (6)

Specialist note

The backs of these chairs have the same scrolled stiles as a set of six Irish chairs, with trifid feet sold anonymously, in these Rooms, 10 June 1999, lot 286. The carved tasselled drapery is another Irish characteristic, as seen on lot 82.
