The double arched back carved with C-scrolls and foliage and decorated with a naval battle scene, surmounted by a pierced C-scroll toprail carved with scrolling foliate and various flower-heads, above pierced scrolling arms and a removable padded squab cushion covered in red velvet, on pierced scroll feet, minor chips and losses to the decoration
