The following lot, mislaid for some years and only recently re-discovered, has been donated by Sir George and Lady Martin to the Young Persons Concert Foundation, a charity which aids the promotion of music in schools for young people.

Lot Essay

This postcard appears to date from 1970. At this time, John and Yoko had been in Los Angeles since April undergoing four months of primal therapy under Dr. Arthur Janov. George Martin appeared on the David Frost Show on 13th July, 1970, six days before John and Yoko sent him this postcard to thank him for his kind words on the show.
