According to the accompanying document, this poster was given to the vendor by Tony Bramwell when she was working for the BBC Radio One Club lunchtime show. Photographs of John Lennon in his office at Apple show that he kept a copy of this poster on the wall. Lennon apparently ordered this poster to be withdrawn from circulation because the image shows him wearing leather trousers, which opposed his new-found Vegetarian principles.
