DELUXE PRESENTATION ISSUE, number 16 of ONLY 25 COPIES specially bound and signed by the principals in the 1980 film production: Fowles, Harold Pinter (screenwriter), Karl Reisz (director), Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons (the leading actors), the cameraman and the producer. The publisher of this reprinting from the original Cape plates was the local bookseller in the English seaside community of Lyme Regis where Fowles lives. Proceeds were used to benefit the local natural history museum he administers and curates.
