Circa 1855, blue seal and sceptre mark, iron-red orb and gilt +
The waisted cylindrical neck chased with a band of oak leaves, flanked by scrolling arched griffin mask handles, the amphora form vase finely painted front and back with views of Schloss Babelsberg in Potsdam, identified in German on the interior, each view within a richly gilt rectangular surround with burnished arches and stylized fronds at the corners and middle of each side, the ground gilt with scroll work, lappets and anthemion, on socle and square base
