A REGENCY SILVER FOUR-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE**
Mark of Paul Storr, London, 1817
Comprising a coffee pot on stand with burner, teapot, open sugar bowl and cream jug; each circular on gadrooned foot, the lower body fluted, the shoulder with anthemion and honeysuckle band, the coffee and teapot with leaf-clad spout and scroll handle with ivory insulators and snake joins, one side of each engraved with a crest, marked on each body, cover and coffee and teapot handles, stand, burner and burner cover
The coffee pot on stand 11in. (28cm.) high, the teapot 10¾in. (27.4cm.) long; 120oz. (3744gr.) (4)
Provenance
The crest is that of Thompson family of Norfolk, Virginia, for
William Henry Thompson (d. 1868) who married Mary Sawyer
thence by descent to their daughter, Emma Jean Thompson (1836-1879) who married Benjamin Pollard Loyall (1833-1923)

Alice Ramsay Loyall McCaw (1906-1997), daughter
