Mark of Humbert & Sohn, Berlin, 1821-1841
Melon-fluted, of slightly compressed circular form on fluted pedestal foot, with part-wood scroll handle, the hinged cover with detachable flower finial, the body engraved with FWR monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for King Friedrich Wilhelm III or IV, the reeded and foliage-capped leaf spout with cartouche engraved C.K, marked on base, also engraved with scratchweight
