A BYZANTINE GLASS BOTTLE
Circa 6th-7th Century A.D.
Pale yellow-green in color, free-blown, the piriform body with pattern-molded diagonal ribs turning to vertical ribs along the upper body, with a very long cylindrical neck flaring slightly to a U-shaped mouth, the rim rounded, on a concave base, the upper portion of the neck with two applied green threads wound spirally
