A BYZANTINE GLASS DOUBLE UNGUENTARIUM
Circa 5th Century A.D.
Green in color, free-blown, the body with an applied thread wound spirally around the body, the vessel then pinched to create two compartments, tapering toward the bottom, on a flattened cut-off base, with a thick rounded rim, the elaborate handle composed of several layers of folded and looped rods
