The case engraved overall with a trellis pattern on the columns and with foliage and flower heads to the base and top with repeat button and handle, the dial with white enamel chapter disc with blue Arabic chapters and finely pierced gold hour and minute hands and blued steel counter-balanced sweep centre seconds hand, the gilt mask engraved with foliate designs on a matted ground, the reverse of the dial plate stamped 006, the complicated miniature movement with going barrel between the plates with platform lever escapement and bimetallic balance, the strike barrel with male key wind housed in the base and with hour and half hour strike on a gong on the back plate, the base also stamped 006
