Two Bow sweetmeat-figures
Circa 1770, the bases indistinctly inscribed in sepia B Boy O
Modelled as a gentleman and companion wearing Turkish dress seated to left and right, he in plumed turban, yellow jacket with iron-red flower-heads, pink turquoise-lined cloak, blue trousers with iron-red flower-heads and iron-red slippers, she in long mauve head-dress, green dress with pink flowerheads and with blue sleeves, yellow pink-lined cloak, striped pink trousers and blue slippers, seated on a tree-stump holding a shell-shaped dish with a spray and sprigs of flowers to the interior supported by branches applied with shells and coral, on pierced scroll-moulded bases with four scroll feet (slight damages and restoration)
