1759, blue interlaced Ls enclosing date letter G, painter's mark of Buteux
Of quatrefoil section, painted with two groups of musical and pilgrims' trophies entwined with flower garlands and with scattered flowers between blue line, gilt dash and gilt line rims (minute shallow chip to underside of foot, slight wear to gilt line above foot)

Charles Buteux (later père), a painter of figures, trophies and flowers, was active at Sèvres from 1756 to 1782.
