A Victorian marquetry and ormolu mounted centre or writing table, in the manner of Holland and Sons,
in the Louis XVI style, the figured top banded and crossbanded in rosewood and tulipwood with interlaced geometric panels centred by a musical and military trophy, with trailing flowers and foliage, heightened in stained harewood, with berries and neo-classical urns within a foliate border of broken D-shaped outline, the frieze inlaid with trailing foliate ornament and containing a drawer on fluted tapered legs and interlaced curved stretchers with turned feet -- 30¾in. (78cm.) high 48in. (122cm.) wide, 29½in. (75cm.) deep
