A rectangular snuff-box, the raised cover depicting the Falconet statue of Peter the Great, the base with a musical trophy, each in foliate wreath on stippled ground within niello and engraved stylized leaf borders, the sides with architectural scenes, marked in cover and base; and a rectangular snuff-box of oval section, the cover showing a man with a dog approching a seated couple with a palace in the distance, the base with a couple in a chariot pulled by deer, the sides with two buildings amidst foliage, stippled ground, with chased foliate scroll thumbpiece, illegible mark on flange
